Context and Background:

The Pinetree School is an AP Academy that currently provides education to vulnerable and challenging young people aged 11 – 16. One of our goals is to re-engage our young people with learning through a range of supportive strategies.

Our Admissions Policy, which is available to any prospective parents and carers, can be viewed here.

Our aim is to be an outstanding school which offers the pupils a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment where they can develop socially, academically and emotionally while developing new and existing skills to manage their behaviour choices both in and out of the school environment.  We wish for them to attain and achieve their full potential while striving to become effective citizens and life-long learners.

Our school thrives on positive relationships for living and learning. This is supported by the personalisation and relevance of our educational and pastoral provision and is underpinned by the necessary rigour and high expectations.
