As an SEMH Free School our admissions arrangements are different from a standard school or academy.
Pupils admitted to the school will have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) in place. Placements at The Pinetree School are available in the following situations:
Permanently excluded students between year 7 and year 11 may be admitted to The Pinetree School if they are permanently excluded from School upon receipt of a referral from their County Council admissions team.
Any Child Missing Education will be admitted to The Pinetree School upon receipt of a completed Referral from the County Council Admissions Team or (in the case of young people who hold a Statement of SEN or EHCP) from the relevant Additional Needs Co-ordinator. Referrals are not accepted from other parties
Admission is subject to a thorough prior assessment to determine placement suitability.
